Game of Thrones Conquest Armory

While Strategic Terrains are finally on their way, we have already the next feature WB is working on. The new Feature will be the Game of Thrones Conquest Armory and will put more focus on crafting, then ever before. In this post we will give you some early insights on what „The Armory“ is and how it will benefit you. Be prepared and plan ahead!

Game of Thrones Conquest Armory

As said, this new feature from WB will put much more focus on crafting then ever before. And … lucky people are already well prepared for it. The armory will be a place, where you can store your item sets! While we don’t know for sure if you can store one or multiple sets there, and if you can still equip them when they are stored in the armory, we are pretty sure, that the armory can store one of each set and you can still equip them.

But is this just a nice way of sorting all your gear?

The clear answer is NO! This feature will be very beneficial how it looks now. A set can unlock three different „Set Bonuses“ of buffs. But to reach those Set Bonuses, there are certain requirements! Below you can find a list of each Set Bonus requirement level:

  • Set Bonus 1: Have 6 common (or better)
  • Set Bonus 2: Have 4 fine (or better)
  • Set Bonus 3: Have 2 epic (or better)

At the current point, it is unclear if you need to unlock the previous Set Bonus before you can unlock the higher Set bonus. So if you need to have four fine (or better) items of a set before you can unlock level 3 of the same set or not. But … better plan that you will need it to be safe. Below an example of how a set could look, to unlock all three level of buffs:

How the Game of Thrones Conquest Armory will benefit you

Each requirement met for your set, will give you a certain buff, fitting to the set. Now, some smart people will say:

„I will just craft the full set on epic level 5 … and I am fine“ …

Someone very smart

The clear answer is NO! This won’t work as good as you think it will.

The Armory Point System.

Please Note: all the following numbers are dummy values, and won’t present values you will see in the game! Those points are just used to explain how it will most likely work.

Each Item of a set will have different points, depending on its level (no matter the quality). Below a list of values:

  • Level 1: 5 Points
  • Level 10: 10 Points
  • Level 20: 50 Points
  • Level 25: 250 Points
  • Level 30: 1,000 Points
  • Level 40: 4,000 Points
  • Level 45: 16,000 Points
  • Level 50: 64,000 Points

So what are those points for? Each Set Bonus will have 5 different values! Depending on your points, you will get a better value of a bonus. Below a small list of some dummy requirements for each value you need to reach with all six items of the set in total :

  • Value 1: needs 30 points
  • Value 2: needs 1,500 points
  • Value 3: needs 15,000 points
  • Value 4: needs 32,000 points
  • Value 5: needs 320,000 points

The outcome:

So in order to have a good set bonus, you need to have a good quality AND a good level! Guess what … its a nice way for WB to „put some more focus“ (translate: earn money) with crafting again.

Bonus for each set

We already highlighted this, but we want to state this once again, since its an early state: All buffs and values are in no way final and will most likely change until they will make it to the game. This list is more or less to give you an idea of possible buffs you can obtain!

I guess it will depend on how it actually works once they roll it out. 🤔 The set bonus idea will definitely be of more benefit to pop than f2p though.
